| Saw Haken live at ProgPower USA in September. Love, love, loved their set! Went right out to the merch table & bought Visions. Can't get enough of it! |

| Saw them live at ProgPower Europe in 2010. Was absolutely stunned by their performance and their music. For me they were the best band of the weekend, together with Shadow Gallery. I spoke to them afterward for a long time, bought Aquarius and haven't looked back since.
I went to see them at the Night of the Prog festival in Loreley, Germany earlier this year and got to speak to them again. Wonderful performance, great atmosphere. Listening to Visions again now, which I got in the mail this weekend. Great album, this band is really something to look out for! |

| I got Aquarius as a gift from a friend on my birthday back in 2010. He knew i was a progfan and we have a local recordstore here in Hengelo (holland) that also sells alot of progmusic. He just walked to the dude behind the counter and explained he needed some proggy music, hehe. He ended up buying Aquarius with a side note : "if your friend doesnt like it he can always return the cd for something else". I never knew of Haken before. I ended up listening to nothing else than Aquarius for a straight month hehe. This year at my birthday (just a week before the release of Visions) he paid Visions for me in advance and has done a good job so far in my cd-player Really great band i can listen to any time. Greetings from Holland |

I hadn't seen that. Can't argue with that sort of publicity! |

| My husband subscribes to Prog Rock Magazine and Haken tracks have teatured on a couple of the free CD's they give with the mag -I then listened to Visions and loved it! I am a big Muse, Nightwish and Porcupine Tree fan and I think Haken are up there with the best prog bands! |

And this thing was hit ^^ From the first song i was totally surprised. And i can't tell in English (my Incorrect English^^) what i feel from Haken music. Haken have changed my mind. Now I live in St. Petersburg and dream about Haken gig in my city or maybe in Moscow. so.. i just want to tell that it was unbelievable to buy random CD and fall in love with this music. | I was at the first ever gig at Leonards!
I'd been recommended Snow and Souls by a friend of mine, who was friends with Peter's girlfriend (six degrees of seperation and all!) We went to the gig together and it was brilliant. I've been a devoted fan ever since, and Aquarius and Visions are two of my favourite albums of all time. Words cannot describe how much I love them and what they mean to me. |

| I've been living in France for the past 30 years and going to the Crescendo progressive rock festival for the past 5.When the organizers of this excellent festival announce the line-up,I usually buy a few CDs of the bands that are going to be playing there, especially if I don't know them, which is often the case. That was the case this year with Haken, and I've been listening to 'Aquarius' and 'Visions' extrememly regularly for the past few months, totally hooked.I've just got back from the festival and it was really great to have seen the band so close up.You guys will definitely have to come back to France some time, the sooner the better.Thank you so much for having come over here. |

| I say them at HRH at Magna, here is part of my review for another forum.
Oh well back to the ice hall. Haken are next. Another band I don’t know anything about. Track 1 loud noisy distorted difficult to follow. Track 2 not much better. By rights, using my 2 song rule (ie give them 2 songs to impress otherwise go see someone else) they’ve had there chance and I should leave and go see someone called Buffalo Summer, but I have a Guinness that I am enjoying so I stay a while longer. Half way through track 3 I notice my foot tapping, I realise this and suddenly it’s like a switch has been turned on. What I thought was distorted noise suddenly all makes sense to me. The rest of their act sounds exactly like what has gone before but now I am enjoying this, no not just enjoying, liking this. Haken were the big surprise of the weekend for me. I came away wanting to hear more of them and have now bought there albums. There is nothing I don’t like about them. Maybe I need to revise my 2 song rule. |
